WRITTEN TEST CENTERS
The written test will be conducted at the following cities:
1. Ahmedabad 2. Bengaluru 3. Chennai 4. Delhi including NCR 5. Dehradun 6. Guwahati 7. Jaipur
8. Hyderabad 9. Kochi 10. Kolkata 11. Lucknow 12. Mumbai 13. Ranchi 14. Visakhapatnam

AGE LIMIT: For all posts except Drilling and Cementing: 1.Gen.-30 Years, 2. OBC (Non- Creamy Layer) - 33 Years 3. SC/ST- 35 Years and 4. PWD - 40 Years for Gen, 43 years for OBC & 45 years for SC/ST category.


Application Procedure
Eligible applicants would be required to apply On the Internet) through the link 'Apply Online' on ONGC's website: www.ongcindia.com . No other mode, repeat no other mode of application shall be accepted.

Selection Procedure:
(a) There will be a Written test (Objective Type)
includes three sections-

  • Concerned subject, 
  • General Awareness a
  • Aptitude test (comprising Reading Comprehension, Verbal/Non-verbal Reasoning, Numerical Ability/Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation etc)

The examination will having Three hours duration.
The paper includes 80 questions out of 80 questions following partition is available:
General Awareness 40 questions
Aptitude test 30 questions

The good thing about test is there is no negative marking. The total marks allotted to the written test is 150.

Syllabus of ONGC AEE Exam
(c) The syllabus of test paper shall be aspen UPSC standard of IFS. for Engineering subjects, Civil Services for Management disciplines and M.Sc.
level for others.
The language of the test shall be English. However the candidates can opt for a paper in Hindi as the language of the test.
The candidates who qualify in the written test shall be called for psychometric test and interview as per the criteria decided by the Management.

Final recruitment criteria will be 
Written test - 60 marks
Interview - 15 marks
Qualification - 25 marks
Total 100 marks

    Sir I am a Mechanical Engineer So what Should be me job my job preference for ONGC while filling the form as its is mentioned that if we choose cementing/drilling as first preference then we can apply wo two more posts while is we choose anyother as first then we are left only with one more option to apply so please help me out on this.
